Entries
Secondary School entries must be submitted online via College Sport’s Entry website.
Deadline: Online entries close Tuesday, 10th February.
Students will be entered into the full series.
Late Entries: After Feb 13th, online entry will be locked. Students can still join by having their sports department contact CollegeSport and visiting the registration tent upon arrival at the event.
Payment for Late Entries: Payments will be managed through CollegeSport
Cost is $10.00 per student per event.
Intermediate Schools can now enter via the entry form available here. To ensure accurate entries, a new entry form must be submitted each week for the upcoming event.
Process: Complete the form and email it to entries@trailblazenz.com.
Deadline: Entries must be received at least 2 business days prior to each event.
Late Entries: The email window closes 2 business days before the event. Any students not registered by then must sign up on-site on the day of the event.
Cost: $8.50 per student per event.
Invoicing: We will track all entries (including on-site registrations) and send one consolidated invoice to the school at the end of the series.
More Details
Don’t worry if it’s your first time. We want to make orienteering an enjoyable experience!!
For the first two weeks of the series we allow students who are new to orienteering to go around the course in pairs.
We also have a couple of roaming orienteering lifeguards out on the course to offer support/tips if you get a bit lost or need help.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
All you need is a pair of running shoes, active clothes and something warm for afterwards if the weather is cooler. The events happen rain or shine, so a rain jacket is recommended.
ELIGIBILITY
All participants must be a bona fide student of an Auckland Secondary School or Auckland Intermediate Schools with a maximum age U19 as at 1st January 2026.

- Year 10 & 11 Intermediate
- Year 12 & 13 Senior
